I'm a quirky glitter wearing cartoon watching individual. Currently enrolled in a
graduate Integrated Media program. My favorite hobby is reading books with actual pages —  yes I'm hooked on that old book smell. I like romantic comedies, funny random moments, fantasy, music, myths and karaoke. OOoh and ice cream...me lovesa the ice cream :P.

When I found out I had to do an integrated media project, the first thing that came to mind  were the words "don't panic". After calming down and taking a few deep breaths I thought "hmmm what about animating a short story?"

I have always loved stories and having been recently introduced to stop motion animation in one of my other classes I thought it would be fun to utilize some of this in my project along with adding a little twist by telling the story in song.

Stop motion animation is awesome, frustrating, smile inducing and time consuming. And because I'm pretty much a newbie to the whole video and stop motion shebang that's where the Birth of Meteor blog comes in, I definitely need to express the journey and pent up feelings about this project.

I'm still working on the logistics but I've sketched out a few storyboard ideas (what I want to happen in the beginning, middle and end). I'm making progress kind of. It would be great to reach others out there in the same boat.
